Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez is a TV arbitrator of Cuban descent in the shows Caso Cerrado and Ana Polo Rules. Ana Polo Gonzalez was born in Havana Cuba and moved with her family to Miami at the age of two. The birthplace of Ana Maria Polo was Habana, Cuba, Ana Maria Polo is host of renowned Telemundo show "Caso Cerrado", the first Spanish programming to be nominated for an Daytime Entertainment Emmy(r) Award. The show was ranked in 2015 as the top Spanish-language show on the air at 4pm in important demos. Polo is an American born in Cuba who was born on 11 April 1959. She attended Florida International University and graduated in the field of political science. She then earned an PhD in law from the University of Miami, and worked for 20 years within Miami. After earning her PhD at the University of Miami she practiced law in Miami for more than 20 years. Polo was the first to make an appearance on television in 2001, as part of Telemundo's Sala de Parejas. Her legal skills were also used for other court-related programs.
