Angelica Panganiban was born in the Philippines. She is an Filipino American actress, comedian, television host and model. She is regarded as the new Queen of Drama in various media publications, Panganiban is recognized as being among the most seasoned and versatile actresses in the Philippines. The year 2012 was the year that Angelica Hale was just 4 years old, she was very sick with a double pneumonia attributed to an aggressive strep pneumococcal infective bacteria. She desperately needed urgent medical attention and was put on ECMO Life-support in Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. The kidneys of her did not heal following the onset of an infection that was septic and she suffered numerous organ malfunctions. Her life became a new regimen of hemodialysis, followed by peritoneal dilution. Her return home was finally made after 80 days of hospitalization, at a point when she was in danger of dying to her long journey back to healthy. The way she lived her life was forever altered. Angelica underwent dialysis treatment for over a decade half before she could undergo the kidney transplant. It was her own mother who was the one to donate her kidney. Angelica as well as her mom underwent an organ transplant successfully on September 13, 2013 at two incredible hospitals located right next to each other: Emory University Hospital & Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale, a young Atlantan girl who always wanted to be an actress as well as a performer, is still pursuing that goal.
